The room was clean from what I could see. It was somewhat quiet except for a phantom noise I kept hearing but couldn't figure out where it was coming from.

Palo Alto is a cute city with tons of things to do. Plenty of food options to eat at, tons of shopping, and events to go to. It is a little bit more on the pricey side but worth the visit. The farmer's market is one of our favorite things to do on Sunday when we visit.

Stanford University was nice.
Stanford University was nice. I spent most of my time in the library, but the architecture was nice.
The city is extremely expensive for food. Restaurants were very pricey, and even groceries were costly.
There is a lot of homelessness and people living in campers. It is not the nightmare that San Francisco is, but it is tragic to see such affluence and poverty side-by-side.

Palo Alto is an affectionately weird mix of California egalitarianism and Silicon Valley Venture Capitalism. I only come to the city for health care at Stanford Medical Center, which is world class, all the way!

It was a good hotel, very comfortable but if you want a meal in the evening or weekend forget it. The hotel does not serve meals during those times. I will go to the Courtyard next time I am in the area.

We needed a place to stay close to Stanford and Coronet Motel was perfect. If we need to return, we will definitely stay there again. We were so pleased with the size of the room which included a breakfast table, sofa, desk and private bedroom. It is not new, but very clean and well kept up.

The Stanford University campus is worth a visit and a guided tour if you can book one. The Baylands nature preserve is a beautiful place to take a walk or just relax. Shopping and eating at the Stanford Shopping Mall with its variety of large and small shops is delightful.
The staff was excellent. I’m in town for my daughter to have spinal surgery. They held the room for me an extra day when I didn’t know if I needed it. They let me leave my belongings in the room while I was at the hospital for her surgery. When I told them I didn’t need the room, they charged me a DISCOUNTED rate because housekeeping had gone home or they wouldn’t of made me pay at all. These people are incredible and will be my first choice if I ever need a room in Palo Alto again
The location of the hotel is truly great. You're literary in the center of Palo Alto, a few minutes walk from literary anything you would want and need. The staff was nice and helpful, always there to greet and say something nice. The room was good, I'd highlight a very comfortable bed and a good TV with a million options. Everything was clean and nice. WIFI worked great without stopping for a second.
The staff is always there and always helpful. They helped with lots of practical things. The rooms are well-maintained. There are two nice seating areas outside and on a balcony. And the location is Palo Alto is near everything i needed. It doesn't have amenities like a pool and a spa, but I did not need that.
I like the staff and the location. The staff is always friendly, and the breakfasts are wonderful. Overall, my stay was good but for the price I paid for my trip, I expected a "the little details" to be better attended to.
I am a fellow hotelier so I understand the challenges.
Great hospitality with an excellent location in Palo Alto. Stores and bistros are nearby. A little fitness centre is next to the swimming pool. Easy access to M101 and free parking add more value. Once you experience this, you won’t be easily satisfied in any other hotels.
The accommodations and lobby were modern, clean, and attractive. The check-in process was efficient. The location was good, walking distance to several coffee shops and restaurants (although driving was necessary to get to Stanford University and downtown Palo Alto).
The price of hotels in Palo Alto are stupid high and Dinah's Garden Hotel had great rates and facilities / room that was just as good if not better than the other hotels in the area. Definitely a place to stay.
The hotel was great. Location with markets close by. rooms were spacious and atmosphere very relaxing. I enjoyed my stay there. Pool side room with a patio was a great place to have coffee or snacks.
The staff here were so friendly and helpful. Beds and room are spacious and comfortable. Perfect location in Palo Alto. Beautiful decor. Loved the balcony. We would readily stay here again.
